Casimira Martinez, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004. She is survived by her children, John Martinez and wife, Martha, Mary Sanchez and husband, Maurice, Mike Martinez, Jr. and wife, Dolores, all of Albuquerque, Marcella Anderson of Bosque Farms, Robert Martinez of Albuquerque and Anthony Martinez and wife, Patricia, of Milagro, NM; grandchildren, Annelle Borget and husband, Sonny, Dina Holcomb and husband Kenny, Ed Sanchez and wife, Tina, Tom Sanchez and wife, Sharon, Mike Martinez III and wife, Miranda, Joe Martinez and wife, Becky, Michelle Lopez and husband, Carl, Richard Martinez and wife, Sue, Gilbert Martinez and wife, Maria, John Anderson and wife, Suzie, Mark Anderson, Jeremy Martinez, Maylyn Martinez, Rita Martinez, Jennifer Navarette and husband, Joe, Anthony Joseph Martinez and wife, Tina; 25 great grandchildren; sister, Cleo Flores of Chico CA; numerous nieces and nephews including Lyman Bliven and wife, Gloria, and numerous other family and friends including close friend, Joe Maldonado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Miguel Martinez; 6 sisters and 2 brothers. Mrs. Martinez retired from K-Mart after 18 years where she was a supervisor. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Friday, June 4, 2004, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 5, 2004, 8:00 a.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ed Sanchez, Tom Sanchez, Mike Martinez III, Joe Martinez, Richard Martinez, Gilbert Martinez, John Anderson, Mark Anderson, Jeremy Martinez, Anthony Joseph Martinez and nephew, Bernie Candelaria.
