Donald L. Hayes, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004. He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Hayes, Cathy Hayes, and Susan Hayes; sister Elaine Bell and several nieces and nephews. Donald was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and entered the US Army, serving in Korea. He was employed at Butterfield Jewelers since coming to Albuquerque 45 years ago. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 4, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. at the Shrine of St Bernadette, 11401 Indian School. Private Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
