Lillian "Lil" L. Jines, 86, a resident of Elephant Butte, passed peacefully at Kindred Hospital on Friday, May 28, 2004. Beloved mother of Ginger Van Gundy and husband, John Van Gundy of Elephant Butte; Tom Coons of Upper Marlboro, MD; Karen George and husband, Peter Wishart of Canberra, Australia; and Robin Benac and husband, Sonny Benac of Albuquerque; beloved sister of Lucille Pinkley; and sister-in-law, Peggy Provance of Malden, MO; grandchildren that will miss Granny are Kathy, Myra, Barbara, Robert and Ed Van Gundy, Laura Struck, Kip Mackey and Andrea Benac; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and no services will be presented because of Lil's request.
