Mrs. Rebecca Sanchez, 61, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home on May 24, 2004. Mrs. Sanchez is the beloved mother to, Raymond V. Sanchez and wife, Debra, Lucy Romero and husband, Andrew, Timmy Sanchez and Mary Candelaria. Mrs. Sanchez is also survived by one sister, Verna Ortiz and husband, Frank; four brothers, Martin Purcella and wife, Josephine, Lawrence Purcella and wife, Bessie, Pete Purcella Jr. and Arthur Purcella; eight grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins and friends. Mrs. Sanchez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Sanchez will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 pm until 7:00 pm at San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A final visitation will be Thursday morning from 10:30 am until 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Pete Purcella Jr., Bobby Purcella, Elaine Lucero, Sarah Purcella, Martin Purcella Jr. and Frank Ortiz.
