Thin Duc Nguyen, 63, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2004. Thin was born October 14, 1940 the son of Vy Duc and Van Thi Nguyen in Vietnam. He served in the Vietnamese Army and after coming to the United States, he lived in Bartlesville, Oklahoma before coming to New Mexico. He had been a programmer in computer manufacturing. Trin is survived by his wife, Van Nguyen of Rio Rancho; eight children, Steve Nguyen, Joe Nguyen, Thuy Nguyen, Trinh Guenther, Kelly Schatz, Danny Nguyen, Michael Nguyen, and Dong Truong; and fourteen grandchildren. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, May 20, 2004 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with the Service on Friday, May 21, 2004 at 9:00 AM in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary.
