Obituary for CLARK

Argie Lee Clark, a resident of Albuquerque for almost forty years, died on Sunday, May 16, 2004, in Austin, Texas. She was 79. Mrs. Clark was born in Lakeview, Texas, in 1924. The oldest girl in a family of eight children, she was a good student who loved to read. When she was 18 she married a handsome young Army officer, Orvill C. Clark. Together they lived in more than a half dozen U.S. states and in Germany. With their children Deborah and Stephen, they settled in Albuquerque in the 1960's. Mrs. Clark was a medical transcriptionist and an accomplished player of duplicated bridge, earning the designation of Life Master. She is best remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Orvill C. Clark and her daughter, Debroah S. Rosenberg. Survivors include her son, Stephen O. Clark and his wife, Autumn; son-in-law, Arthur M. Rosenberg, MD; grandchildren, Rachel Clark, Robert Clark, Jessica D'Arcy, Kathryn Gonzales and Laura Rosenberg; several great-grandchildren; several siblings; and many friends. Services will be held Friday, 12:00 noon, at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with Dr. Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
