Devon "Red" Stogdill, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004. Born June 24, 1929 and raised in Ravanna, Nebraska, Red moved to Albuquerque in 1972. Red is a veteran of the US Navy and served during the Korean Conflict on the USS Hank from 1950 to 1954. He retired after 30 years as a driver for Consolidated Freightways. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Stogdill, formerly Virginia Hutchison of Topeka, Kansas; his sister, Maretta Troxel, a resident of Phoenix, Arizona; and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
