Obituary for TRUMAN

Lois M. (Nelson) Truman departed this world Friday, April 30, 2004. Lois was born in Raton, NM, December 5, 1942 and went to school in Albuquerque. After high school, she went into the Army and served at San Francisco and Honolulu Hawaii. After her stint in the military, she went to work for the Army in Hawaii and during this time met her husband of 34 years. They returned to New Mexico and she became a charter member of a new chapter of the WAC Veterans association. She was an active bowler and homemaker and during their early years loved spending time with her daughters both in school activities and after school . She was a girl scout leader for several years and her home was always a gathering place for the neighborhood kids. She will be missed by her husband, Maurice of Millbury, OH; and daughters, Suzanne (Rich) Callis of Albuquerque, NM and Christy (Troy) Ranes of Stony Ridge, OH. The light of her life was her grandson, Troy (TJ) Ranes Jr. and she will be sadly missed by him. She is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Romero of Killeen, Texas and Lorene Rogers of San Diego, California; and one brother, Jack T. Nelson of San Diego California. Visitation was May 3, 2004 at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Millbury, Ohio.
