Crecencio " Chris" Lopez Jr. April 14, 1926-April 16, 2004 "Happy Birthday" Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, was a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico has passed on, Friday, April 16, 2004 at 8:45 a.m. with his family at his bedside. He was preceded in death by sons John, Christopher, Ernie, Michael, Frank and Granddaughter Carol Lopez. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years Rosie Cuellar-Lopez. And His Children: Irene and husband Larry Torrez, Gilbert Lopez, Steve and wife Inez Lopez, Marie and husband Randy Garcia, Rick Lopez, Lorraine and husband Andy Griner, Renee Graston and Barbara Chavez, 34 Grandchildren and 28 Great-Grandchildren all of Albuquerque. He was a local musician who loved to play his accordion and had a local group "Los Con Huntos Estrellas." He loved to play his accordion in the church choir and often accompanied at many family functions. He had a passion for dancing with his wife, daughters and granddaughters. He attended many sporting events that his entire family was involved in. he was never without a story to tell or a joke to be played out. Our father was known as grandpa to many, his door was never closed and was always willing to welcome many in our family. Although he is no longer with us he will always be a part of us. A Rosary will be recited on Monday Evening at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church with the time to be announced. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church time is pending. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Lawrence Torrez Jr., Frank Lopez, Steve Lopez Jr., John Garcia, Mario Collazo, David Graston. Honorary Pallbearers are Ernie Lopez Jr., Joseph Nestor, Paul Lopez and Jose Lopez.
