Rosemary E. Tugwood passed away in her sleep on April 9, 2004. She recently retired to New Mexico to be closer to her sister. Rosemary retired from the Archdiocese of Brooklyn, New York after many years of service. She is survived by her sister, Marcella Fitzgerald of Albuquerque; nephews, John Fitzgerald and wife, Cathy, of Albuquerque, Michael Fitzgerald and wife, Jeanne, of Las Vegas, NV, Dennis Fitzgerald and wife, Karen, of Phoenix, AZ and Patrick Fitzgerald and wife, Maria, of Albuquerque; grand nieces, Erin Fitzgerald, Amber Fitzgerald, Kelsey Fitzgerald, and Delany Fitzgerald; grand nephews, Eric Fitzgerald, Alec Fitzgerald, Brian Fitzgerald, Breton Fitzgerald, Richard Brooks and J. Patrick Brooks. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, April 11, 2004, at 3:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 12, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Richard Olona, Celebrant. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit on Sunday, April 11, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. until Rosary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE, 87110.
