John W. Griego, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, April 3, 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Verna Garcia and husband, Rudy; four grandchildren, Rudy John Garcia and wife, Renee of Albuquerque, Angelia Yocum and husband, Deward of Los Lunas, Matt Garcia and Kathleen Garcia, both of Albuquerque; two great-grandchildren, Bianca and Zachary Garcia, both of Albuquerque; and brothers, Robert Griego and Tommy Griego. Mr. Griego was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Griego. He was a veteran of WWII. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
