Violet May Zoerb Bernard, 87, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2004. She was born on September 8, 1916 in Menominee, MI and moved with her husband to Albuquerque in 1945. Violet retired from Sandia National Laboratories in 1973. She was an avid reader and loved playing bridge. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Krout; two grandchildren, Kalla Martinez and husband, Jesus, Bernard Krout and wife, Laura; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Philip, Garret, and Lucas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents, sister, and great-grandson. Services will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2004, 2:00 p.m., at St.Timothy's Lutheran Church, 211 Jefferson NE.
