Obituary for ARAGON

Manuel Aragon passed away in Albuquerque, Friday morning, April 9, 2004, after a lengthy illness. Manuel was a lifetime resident of Cubero, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Vivian Aragon; parents, Antonio and Lucilla Aragon; son-in-law, Keith Ward, and three children. Manuel is survived by ten children, Coral Chavez of England, Margaret Brito and husband Jimmy of Grants, Nicky Aragon and wife Alice of Albuquerque, Steve Aragon Sr. and wife Michelle of Albuquerque, Gloria Ward of Belen, Ruby Aragon of Cubero, Robert Aragon and wife Pamela of Belen, Willie Aragon and wife Isabel of Albuquerque, Clemente Aragon of Cubero and Amanda Pagan and husband Jason of Albuquerque; thirty one grandchildren; thirty nine great grandchildren; loving companion of six years, Vene Jaramillo. Manuel also leaves two sisters, Eutemia Gulley and Bennie Anzures, several nieces and nephews, friends and family who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Cubero, NM. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Monday, April 12, 2004. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 13, 2004. Burial will follow at Cubero Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Perea, Steve Aragon Jr., Nick Aragon Jr., Ira Ward, Jason Pagan, Nicole Bro, Joshua Aragon and Anthony Aragon. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Sanchez, Bennie Lucero, Carl Aragon, Gary Trowbridge, Rebecca Sanchez, Favian Aragon, Korey Robles, John Ray Aragon, Patrick Hrubnieski, Toby Telles, Rosie Gonzales and Toni Anzures.
