Jack L. McLean, 66, a life long resident of Albuquerque was born April 2, 1938, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2004. Jack was a loving and devoted son, husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His mischievous smile, and sense of humor could brighten any day and will be cherished always. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Merle McLean and two sons, Scott and Jason McLean. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary; son, Tim McLean; daughters, Kelly McLean and husband, Gordon Eye and Sandie Ethier and husband, Nick; three grandchildren, Karen McLean, Rory Eye and Collin Ethier and sister, Linda Williams. Jack was a member of the Northeast Albuquerque Church of Christ. He retired from The Albuquerque Publishing Company in July 2003 after 37 years. Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2004 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald and Son Mortuary, 3113 Carlisle NE. Services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m., Fitzgerald and Sons Mortuary. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Charles Bass, Joe Roberts, Tim McLean, Darrell Decker, Harry Hahn and Bill Byers. Honorary Pallbearer will be Manuel Chavez.
