Edith Meta (Schrader) Davis, born September 17, 1917 in Colyn, Pennsylvania to Howard Parke and Marie Schrader, passed away April 5, 2004 in Colorado Springs, CO. Edith, former resident of Albuquerque, NM for 46 years, was a department manager at Wards for 19 years. She enjoyed watching sports and old movies, gardening, painting figurines, and her grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Pettit and Eleanore Given; husband, Claude; and two children, George (age 10) and Claudia (age 7). She is survivied by sister, Helen Parke Wyatt; son and daughter-in-law, Parke and Dottye Davis; granddaughter and husband, Barbara and Ryan Gooden; and grandson, Scott Davis. Also surviving are two great-grandsons, Jordin Gooden (3 1/ 2) and Sean Davis (2 1/ 2); and another great-grandchild, Baby Gooden, due 10/02/04. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Alzheimer's Association. Inurnment for both Claude and Edith will be at a later date in Drexel Hill, PA.
