Fred E. Sandoval, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away April 2, 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Flora Sandoval. Fred is survived by his children, Patricia and husband Ronnie Abram, Alfred, Gilbert and wife Jessie, Alex, Rose and husband John Fernandez, Barbara and husband Mike Steele, Liz and husband Joe Rodriguez, David and wife Mary, Rhonda and husband Bob Brown, John and wife Paula; 28 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 step-brothers, Manuel, Peter, John Sena and Lawrence Garcia; one step-sister, Rose Garcia; and one brother-in-law, Johnny Chavez. He is also survived many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention by name. A rosary and visitation will be held at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church on Edith, with a visitation beginning on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at 6:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 9:00 a.m., with burial to follow at San Carlos Cemetery on Alameda.
