Claude Anthony DeLorenzo, Lt. Col.,(Ret.), 87, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1987, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2004. Claude was born June 10, 1916 the son of Gaetano and Mary Trincanati DeLorenzo in Niagara Falls, New York. He had been a director in Nuclear Safety with Argonne Labs before retiring, and retired from the US Air Force after 22 years of service. He graduated in 1938 from Niagara University, also received an MBA from the University of Chicago. He was a member of the Chamisa Hills Country Club. Claude is survived by his wife Dorothy, of Rio Rancho; son, David L. DeLorenzo of Sacramento, CA; daughter, Claudia Black and husband David of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Erin Black of Albuquerque. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2004, 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho.
