Joe S. Davis, 86. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 8, 2004 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel & Crematory, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Joe was born on September 20, 1917 in Avoca, Texas to Alice (Huffaker) and Orlou B. Davis, Sr. they preceded him death as did his siblings. He married Margaret Thacker on February 4, 1961 in Dallas, Texas. She survives him at the family home. Joe is also survived by one daughter, Dana Petersen; and her husband, Tracy of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Joe served his country in the United States Air Force from 1942-1948. He had been employed by Southwest Distributing as a salesman for 18 years. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1111 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, Roswell, New Mexico, 88203.
