Rose R. Baca, 98, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, April 5, 2004. She is survived by her grandsons, Edward M. Baca, and wife, Sylvia and Philip R. Baca; granddaughter, Elizabeth R. Baca; grandson, Gregory D. Baca; and granddaughter, Sarah L. Baca, all of Albuquerque; sister, Tina Brookline; and great-grandchildren, Kennan Winters and John Gonzales, both of Albuquerque. Mrs. Baca was preceded in death by her husband, Ignacio E. Baca, II; and son, Ignacio E. Baca, III. She was owner and operator of the Mushroom Store with her husband for many years. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. NE, with Father Paul Baca reciting. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, with Monsignor Joaquin Bazan, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Baca's grandsons and great-grandsons. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. until Rosary.
