Peggy Gonzales, 40, of Macintosh, New Mexico, born June 30, 1963 in Grants, New Mexico passed away on March 27, 2004 in Albuquerque after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her fiance, Jesse Lucero Jr. of Albuquerque; her sons, Derrick Gonzales of Albuquerque, Jesse Lucero III and Andrew Gary Lucero of Macintosh; mother, Ana Mae Gonzales-Valencia; and stepfather, Agustine T. Valencia of Albuquerque; one brother, Eugene Gonzales and wife, Shelina of San Mateo, New Mexico; two sisters, Loretta Salazar and husband, Walter of Yuma, Arizona and Shannan Gonzales of Thoreau; numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2004 with Rosary following at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande Catholic Church located at 5901 St. Joseph's Dr. NW, in Albuquerque. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande. Final resting place will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque. Pallbearers: Walter Salazar Sr., Anthony Jaramillo, Harold Salazar, Matthew Salazar, Anthony Lucero, and James Lucero. Honorary pallbearers: Walter Salazar Jr., Julian Salazar, Abrya Baca, Shantel Salazar, Dawnielle Gonzales and Ricky Barranca.
