Obituary for FILLARE

Roy R. Fillare, 64, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, March 26, 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Fillare; son, Frank Fillare; daughter, Rita Fillare; and daughter, Sandra Cangiolsi and husband, Richard, all of Albuquerque; mother, Rosalie Fillare; sisters, Angela Gilbert and husband, Larry, Joan Ecker and husband, Raymond and Bernice Bennett and husband, John; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Roy served his country in the Army for four years and then retired as a police officer. Roy was dedicated to his position as vice president of the G.A.I.N. organization, and protecting the rights of grandparents and grandchildren. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, who will be missed by all those who knew him. A mass will take place at Sangre de Crisco Catholic Community, 8901 Candelaria NE on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
