Thelma T. Davis, of Duncanville, TX., passed away March 23, 2004, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Chris Saul. She was a longtime resident of Albuquerque. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Frances Taylor; her husband, Norton Davis; and daughter, Lorraine Oakes. Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Gail Saul and husband, Chris; son-in-law, Roy Oakes; grandchildren, Donna, Victor and Richard Martinez, Michael and John Oakes; niece, Shirley Chauvin; nephew, Skip Chauvin; and seven great-grandchildren and many dear relatives and friends. Thelma had a caring heart that loved unconditionally always placing the needs of others above her own. She was our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, April 3, 2004, at 8:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Annunciation Church, 2532 Vermont N.E. Albuquerque, NM 887110. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
