Obituary for ROYBAL

Daniel Roybal, 94, went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2004 in Albuquerque. He was born in Trinchera, Colorado, June 30, 1909. He was retired from the City of Albuquerque after 20 years. He was a wonderful Uncle, Godfather and a Grandfather to the Moya family. Daniel was preceded in death by his brother Albert Moya; sister, Rose Chavez and brother Charlie Lucero. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Vicky Moya; and considered the immediate family of: nephews, Lawrence Moya and wife Della, Richard Moya and wife Melda and Nestor Moya; nieces, Marie Acosta and husband Leopoldo, Judy Martinez and husband Amos Jr. and Marlene Baca and husband Kevin; numerous nephews, nieces, and great great nephews and nieces and one Godson Mario Moya. Visitations will be held on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Refreshments will be served after the rosary in the Celebration of Life Room also at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Moya, Richard Moya, Nestor Moya, Leopoldo Acosta, Amos Martinez Jr., Kevin Baca and Mario Moya. Services are in the care of: GARCIA MORTUARY 717 Stover Ave. SW 243-5222
