Obituary for SNOW-WIPPLER

Winifred (Wendy) passed away at the age of 83 in her Cedar Crest home, Saturday, March 13, 2004. She was born in Denver, Colorado on October 19, 1920 to Harold and Henrietta Axtell. Wendy was preceded in death by her first husband, Burton Snow; and second husband, Joseph Wippler, who passed away three weeks prior to Wendy. She was the beloved mother of five children, Gary Snow and wife, Judi of Rio Rancho, Judi Stewart and her husband, Dick of Sandia Park, Dorothy Snow of Cedar Crest, Ron Snow of Sandia Park, and Janet Snow and her husband, Bill Hellwege of Cedar Crest. Wendy had nine grandchildren; eleven great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends whose lives she inspired daily. All who knew her knew that they had been touched by an angel. An open house will follow a private family service in Wendy's garden on Saturday, April 3, 2004, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Riviera de Sandia Trailer Park, 12145 hwy N.
