Barbara Andrews, 61, of Albuquerque, passed away on March 12, 2004, at home. Born Barbara Sabo on November 9, 1942, in Detroit, MI, she was the beloved wife of Jimmy Ireland; dear mother of Kristin Andrews and Holly Andrews. She is also survived by her loving mother, Margaret Sabo; sisters, Eileen Betley, Janet Nelsen, Nancy Sabo, Mimi Sabo; and brother, Alex N. Sabo; dear friends, Grace Cummins, Jane Cotner, Andrew Munz and Jerome Andrews; as well as 11 nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Alex Sabo; and sister, Donna Maas. She was a counselor and worked with the visually impaired in Albuquerque prior to her illness. Services were private, cremation by the Sunrise Society of New Mexico. Memorials to the UNM Cancer Research and Treatment Center, 900 Camino De Salud, Albuquerque, NM 87131.
