Marjory Warren Carr, A 57-year resident of Santa Fe, passed away on March 16, 2004, at the age 90. She is survived by her sons TJ Carr of Albuquerque, NM and Cleve N. Carr of Indian Springs, NV; grandchildren: John N. Carr of Seattle, WA, Star Tucker Stater, and Zoe Tucker Dalley of Amarillo, TX, and Alexandra Carr Davis of Frederica DE; great-grandchildren: Chancely and Cesarae Tucker, Sarah Stater, and Tori Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband Newman J. Carr and her daughter Sarah Carr Will. Marjory was born and raise in Amarillo, TX, the youngest and last surviving child of Thomas (Jack) and Didama Gaines Warren. Her brothers Clarence, Gaines, and Frank, and sisters Addie and Birdie all preceded her in death. Marjory taught Speech, English, and Drama at Santa Fe High School for 35 years. She was an independent spirit, an avid gardener, and continued to live on her own until a month before her death. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
