Jack Butt, age 59, died on Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in Clayton, NM. Jack was born on July 25, 1944, in Clayton, NM to Karl K. Butt and Lava (Wetsel) Butt. Jack married Lynda McCurley on October 24, 1968 in Clayton, NM. Jack managed Union County Feedlot since 1970, He served on the New Mexico State University Board of Regents from 1991 until 1997 during which time he served one term as president.
