Agnes, 83, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2004. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Bruno Anaya; daughter, Adelaida Anaya; and grandson, Ben Anaya Jr. She is survived by children, Abel Anaya and wife Margaret, Barbara Anaya, Ben Anaya and wife Linda; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW. A Rosary was recited on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 9:00 a.m., with burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Annette Lucero, Angel Anaya, Lisa Lovato, Juliet Anaya, Bertha Pino and Selinda Guerrero. Honorary pallbearer will be Patricia Lujan.
