Obituary for PRESSLEY

Dorsey McGregor Pressley, 81, a resident of Albuquerque for 11 years, died Friday, March 12, 2004. She is survived by her daughters, Dr. Paula Huguley and husband, Carl of Albuquerque, and Dr. Pam Abraham of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Dawn Bascomb and husband Brian of Albuquerque, and Lisa Huguley of Seattle, WA; and great-grandchildren, Natalie Bascomb and Louis Bascomb. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.R. Pressley Jr. in 1953, and her brother, Hugh Allen McGregor. Dorsey graduated from TCU with a BS in nursing in 1963. She was director of nursing services for the Tarrant County Chapter of the American Red Cross in Ft. Worth, TX for over 27 years. She also received special recognition for her work in disaster operations from the American Red Cross. She traveled to Albuquerque in 1992 to be closer to family where she resided until her death. Services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. at the Montgomery Blvd. Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park in Ft. Worth, TX. Friends may visit French Mortuary on Sunday, March 14, 2004 from 4:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross - Nursing Services, 142 Monroe NE, 87108.
