Obituary for GALLEGOS

Josephine Gallegos, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home Sunday, March 7, 2004. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. She was a remarkable woman whose caring, loving ways left their mark on all whose lives she blessed. Her presence will be eternally missed, but her spirit will live on in all of our hearts. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John G. Gallegos of Albuquerque; three daughters, Violet Tabet and husband, Eddie; Maxine Gallegos; Anna Marie Miller and husband, Jim; two sons, Richard "Dick" Gallegos and wife Priscilla; and Eddie Gallegos all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Richard, Erik and Raymond Gallegos; Josh Miller, Jenise Miller-Martinez, Trinity Miller-Padilla, Michael, and Johnathon Gallegos; six great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathan, Joshua, Jace, Ashley and Treyton; three sisters, Mary Moya and husband George; Corinne Chavez and husband, Joe; Dolores Escarcida and husband, Ross; one brother, John Baros all of Albuquerque; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, March 10, at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 11, at 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday, March 10, from 4:00 p.m. until Rosary.
