Bennie F. Baca, age 77, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2004 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on September 8, 1926 to Polo and Anita (Fajardo) Baca in Socorro, NM. Bennie was a Veteran of World War II and retired from White Sands Missile Range in 1992 after 33 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Josie (Lopez) Baca of the family home in Socorro, NM; his daughter, Ann Baca of Socorro; and other relatives and many friends. Rosary was recited on Sunday, March 7, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Miguel Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, March 8, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Burial will be in the San Miguel Cemetery with the Socorro DAV providing military honors on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
