Obituary for KNEPPER

Ada M. Knepper (Brown), 94, passed on peacefully in her sleep at Manor Care Sandia, February 22, 2004. She is survived by her son, Joseph E. Knepper and wife, Patricia; daughter, Lucinda Shellenberger and husband, Edwin; seven grandchildren, Sherry Shellenberger and partner, Mary Sue Williams, Kristy Doherty and friend, Steve Martorana, Joseph E. Knepper III and wife, Colleen, Shelley Brethouwer and husband, Lloyd, Nancy Knepper, Edwin L. Shellenberger III, and Sandra Guidice and husband, Rafe; seven great-grandchildren, Joshua, Bridgette, Matthew, Peter Knepper, Nicholas and Heather Doherty, and Ryan Guidice; two sisters-in-law, Vera Lambert and Martha Reinholdt. She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 62 years, Joseph E. Knepper Sr.; mother, Bertha Brown; brothers, John Thomas and Charles Brown; and grandson, Mark Knepper. She was born on April 12, 1909 in Altoona, PA. She enjoyed her life of 50 years in Altoona, PA, 23 years in San Diego, CA and 22 years in Albuquerque. She was a devoted wife and mother. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 9, 2004, 10:30 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, with Father Antonio Mondragon, Celebrant, followed by a gathering in the Community Hall.
