Obituary for MILKS

Marjorie J. Milks, 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2004. Marjorie was born June 18, 1929 the daughter of Stanley and Bernice Best in Buffalo, New York. She had been very active in her church, in Buffalo, NY, Bull Head City, AZ, and Albuquerque, she was active in the choir at All saints Lutheran Church since 1974, had been involved in the choirs with the Buffalo - Kensington Lutheran Church and the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, also was a part of a quartet in Orchard Park. Marjorie retired from the phone company in 1985, only to eventually pursue her most gratifying job of caring for Harmony and Raiff. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Linda Heider of Albuquerque. Marjorie is survived by her devoted husband, Charles H. Milks, Sr.; four children, Dennis C. Milks and wife Linda, Marlene J. Hayes and husband Rick, Dana P. Milks and companion Linda, and Charles H. Milks, Jr. and wife Regina; grandchildren, Sean Milks and wife Janene, Harmony and Raiff, Steven and Brian; great-granddaughter, Gianna; and one sister, Shirley Beato of Buffalo, NY. The Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Services will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2004 at 4:30 p.m. at the All Saints Lutheran Church, 4800 All Saints Rd. NW, Albuquerque, with Pastor Philip Wangberg officiating. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, it has been suggested that memorial contributions be made to the All saints Lutheran Church Choir, 4800 All saints Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
