Amy Jo A. Button, 49, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 24, 2004. Amy was born on March 16, 1954. She was preceded in death by her father, James Downs Shreve Jr; her step-father, Robert A. Wise. Amy is survived by her husband, Ronald W. Button; her mother, Ardeth Courdier Wise; brothers, Jim and Tim Shreve; and her life-long best friend, Carrie Rudy. Amy's last job was as a Project Manager at the Albuquerque High Performance Computer Center at UNM from 1992 to 1999. Amy had a compassionate heart and a special love for all animals. She loved gardening, carving walking sticks, playing cribbage and watching movies. Amy touched many people in her life and will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the World Wildlife Fund. A special service will be held in the early spring.
