Obituary for CARREJO

Emil "Animal" Carrejo, 51, went to heaven to play the drums for the Lord on February 27, 2004. Survived by his mother, Teresa Carrejo; granddaughter, Mikaylah Harp; three children, Tamara McCallum, Tarah Harp, Levi Carrejo; and their loving mother, Penny; two brothers, Billy and Frank Carrejo; two sisters, Roberta Jones and Pamela "Tweety" Wintermute; along with extended loving family. Emil was the best drummer to come out of New Mexico and he was a pressman for UNM for many years. His favorite past times were playing music, laughing, and spending time with his kids. Emil was a blessing and a witness to all and he will never be forgotten. A celebration of his life will be held at Church Alive, 4601 Avocet NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114 on the corner of Irving and Golf Course behind the Sav-on Drugs. 505-896-2800.
