Daniel H. Owens, a resident of New Mexico since 1973, passed away February 13, 2004. Daniel was born June 29, 1924 in Llanelly, Wales. He was a World War II veteran having served as a radio operator in the Merchant Marines in the North Atlantic and Southwest Pacific during hostilities. He is survived by his sister Mary Morgan of Llanelly, Wales; his daughter, Daniela; and three granddaughters, Deniz, Jasmine, and Sara of Willich, Neersen, Germany.
