Thomas O. Lucas, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 2000, died Thursday, February 26, 2004. He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl A. Strotz and husband, Bruce, and Susan A. Lucas-Kamat and husband, Nikhil, all of Albuquerque; son, Robert A. Lucas of Charleston, SC; granddaughters, Sondra Carpenter and husband, Kevin, of Albuquerque, and Karla Pinckes and husband, Michael, of San Diego, CA; great-grandson, Drake Carpenter; great-granddaughter, Kaylin Carpenter; and sister, Mary Smith of Raleigh, NC. Mr. Lucas was retired from Exxon Oil Company where he worked in Central and South America for a number of years, living in Aruba from 1946 to 1972. After retirement he resided in Conway, SC, until moving to Albuquerque. Memorial services will be held Monday, March 1, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with Eddie Howard, Pastor, officiating.
