Richard T. Slater passed away in peace February 22, 2004. He was born January 14, 1918 a retired Lt. Col. in the Air Force. Richard will be sorely missed and dearly remembered by his loving wife of 28 years, Rose; 13 children and their families; and many other relatives and friends. He was a man who in the end described one of his greatest accomplishments to be his family, and we were lucky to have shared in his life. Services will be held at Sunrise Funeral Options located at 7601 Wyoming NE, 821-0010, March 1, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be graciously sent to Yuma Hospice, 1824 S. 8th Ave. Yuma, AZ. 85364.
