Cordelia R. Trujillo, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully after a long illness, with her loving family by her side on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at age 83. She was preceded in death by her husband, Porfirio Trujillo Sr.; sons, Eremito, Porfirio Jr., and Johnny Trujillo; and daughter, Laura Limon Gallegos. She is survived by her children, Lydia Paiz and husband, Andy, Cirila Leal and husband, Richard, Gilbert Trujillo and wife, Ellie, Kathy Trujillo, and Chris Trujillo and wife, Irene; special friend, Santiago Perdomo; and many nieces, nephews and close dear friends. Cordelia was a member of the Catholic Church and active in Holy Family Sacred Heart League and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #2251. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 550 Atrisco Dr. SW. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Paiz, Joey Limon, Thomas Trujillo, David Leal, Patrick Trujillo and Bobby Trujillo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Efren Trujillo, Tony Cordova, Bessie and Alfred Romero and her 30 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren who loved her very much.
