Obituary for FLINN

Elbert G. Flinn, 84, died Sunday, February 15, 2004. He is survived by his son, Elby G. Flinn and wife, Valerie of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter, Michelle Flinn; and two great-granddaughters, Tiffany and Leila. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Erma L. Flinn in February 1997. Mr. Flinn served his country in the US Army Air Corp. during WWII, as a Flight Officer, glider pilot with the 82nd Airborne Division and 101 Airborne Division. He also successfully owned and operated a hearing aid company in Cheyenne, WY and Albuquerque, NM for over 40 years. Mr. Flinn will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and a gifted storyteller. Mr. Flinn was laid to rest last Friday in a graveside service at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
