Laudente H. Montoya, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, February 13, 2004. Mr. Montoya was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Rita Montoya. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann Roberts and husband, Melvin, Lorraine Armijo and husband, Andrew, all of Albuquerque; sons, Herman A. Montoya and wife, Thomasine of Rio Rancho; daughters, Geraldine Hernandez and husband, Mario of Tijeras, NM, Yolanda Guerrero of Rio Rancho; son, Laudente A. Montoya and fianc, Faye of Albuquerque; grandsons, Damian Roberts and wife, Lillian, Darin Roberts, Virgil Gil and girlfriend, Kelly, Rafael Montoya and Nicholas Montoya, Mario Hernandez, Jr. and wife, Michelle, Eric Hernandez, Gabriel Guerrero, Laudente S. Montoya and Joseph Montoya; granddaughters, Alexandra Armijo and Ashley Armijo; Mirinda Guerrero, Nicolita Montoya, Natalie Montoya, Nadia Montoya and Samantha Smith; great-grandsons, Tanner Roberts, Spencer Roberts, Lawrence Garcia, Mario Hernandez, III, Isaiah Montoya and Jonathon; great-granddaughters, Jacquelyn Mora, Micayla Mora and Rene Montoya; brothers, Lee A. Montoya and wife, Odelia of Albuquerque and Luis A. Montoya and wife, Rosie of Las Vegas, NM; sisters, Emily Nye and husband, Kenneth of Hastings, MI and Arabella Montoya of Albuquerque; in-laws, Lucy and Johnny A. Garcia of Albuquerque and Amalia and B.J. Choice of Austin, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday, 9:30 a.m., at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna NE, with Pastor Alan Brooks officiating. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mr. Montoya's grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Montoya's granddaughters.
