Lorenzo ( Pancho) Nieto, 51, of Mountainair died on February 12, 2004, in Los Lunas. Lorenzo was born on August 10, 1952, in Albuquerque to Polinario and Celestina ( Francia) Nieto. Polinario has preceded him in death. Lorenzo married Anita Carrillo on September 16, 1972 in Abo. He has resided in Mountainair for 31 years moving from Albuquerque. A past employee of the railroad he most recently was employed with the city of Mountainair. Lorenzo was a member of Saint Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair. Lorenzo is survived by his wife Anita of Mountainair, His sons: Valentin Nieto and wife Jennifer of Albuquerque and Peter Nieto of Mountainair. Lorenzo also leaves his daughter Roxanne Ortiz and husband Joe Ray of Los Lunas. Also is survived by his mother: Celestina and children of the home, Patrick, Earl, Alex, Kourtney, Devon and Shirley. Lorenzo also leaves his brothers: Ruben, Gilbert, Victor, Mario and Ernie, His sisters: Elsie, Francis, Tillie, Elenor and husband Cluade. 5 Grandchildren: Valentin, K'la, Victoria, Adrian, Izic. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and many friends who will miss him. Visitation for Lorenzo will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2004, at Saint Alice Catholic Church with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM and another Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2004. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2004, at 10:30 AM with committal rites to follow at the Mountainair Catholic Cemetery. The Fr. Reanud will officiate.
