Beatrice Silva Myers. A "Harvey Girl" from the Fred Harvey Hotel, and the Alvardo Hotel, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She died on February 10, 2004 in Baton Rouge, LA. Born in 1914, she lived in Albuquerque for the last 59 years. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW, with Father Edmundo Rodriguez, Celebrant. Military dependent burial will take place at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is survived by her son, Gene Cabral, and daughter-in-law, Pat Cabral of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Mary Rivers and Dolly Rebero of Hayward, CA; Isabelle Farias of San Ramon, CA; brother, Manuel Silva of Castro Valley, CA; niece, Marlene Ruth of Pollock Pines, CA and other nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired SGT. Elmer D. Myers, U.S.A.F. Municians Specialists with the Strategic Air Command; a brother, Joseph Silva of San Diego, CA, and Mike Silva of Hayward, CA. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
