Obituary for PHILLIPS

Jane A. Phillips, 59, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 9, 2004, following an extended illness. She was born in Pryor, OK on December 1, 1944 and for the past 31 years has been a resident of Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Howard Phillips; her son, Duane, both of Albuquerque; her mother and father, Nancy and Carl Jordan of Farmington, NM; twin brother, Jimmy Jordan and wife, Betty of Bloomfield, NM; sisters, Donna Tobin and husband, Charles of Farmington and Peggy Chavez and husband, Lee of Albuquerque; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Eugene and David Leo Jordan. Jane was employed by Beitler Law Firm for the past 12 years as a Legal Assistant. She always enjoyed the simple things in life; being able to help family and friends, always being a pillar of strength for her family, always putting others before herself and always treating children as her own. Services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE, with Pastor Larry Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be nephews, Kevin Phillips, Michael Phillips, Brock Phillips, Jeff ***(1)***Laskie, Eric Laskie, Robert Jordan, and a dear friend, Rick Beitler.
