| Anita Anna Mathiasen of Rio Rancho died on January 26, 2004 following an accident. She was born on June 29, 1919 in New York City, the daughter of Anna and Julius Valentine. Anita loved books, sewing, gardening, and music (she had a beautiful voice). She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arthur; two daughters, Kim Schimkus and Brenna Mathiasen; son-in-law, Frank Schimkus; and granddaughter, Tamara. Service is private. | |
