Ernest E. Muniz, 52, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, loving father died Tuesday, February 3, 2004. He is survived by his son, David Muniz; stepson, Ronnie Lucero, both of Albuquerque; father, Joe Muniz of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Connie Marquez and husband, Ray of Albuquerque; brothers, Jacob Muniz of Guerneille, CA and Robert Muniz and wife, Nancy of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Mary Louise Vigil and husband, Jim of Albuquerque; brothers, Edward Muniz of Atlanta, GA and James Muniz of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Muniz was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Muniz. He worked for many years at the Post Office. Mr. Muniz loved to cook and enjoyed food. He was very religious and loved the Lord. Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with Charles Martinez reciting. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Father David Phillipson, celebrant. Cremation will follow services. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Lucero, Gilbert Romero, Ray Marquez, Jacob Vigil, Damond Vigil, and Mike Aragon. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
