Elmer J. Wendt passed away on Tuesday January 27th, 2004. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 1st, 1914. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Esther of almost 50 years. He is survived by daughter Judith; sons James and wife Vera, Roger; special grandson, Dale and wife Laurie- their children, Caleb, Katlyn, and Christopher; sister Joyce Johnston; sister-in-law Gladys Fornecker; many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and his dog Pepper. Memorial services will be held at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper Ave NE, Saturday January 31, 2004 at 2:00 pm. A Reception will follow at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to La Mesa Presbyterian Church Building Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of; Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle Blvd. 884-1188
