Leonard D. Sharrar, 83, a 42 1/ 2 resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, January 27, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Jane Sharrar of the family home; sons, Richard Sharrar of Clovis, NM, Clifford W. Sharrar of Albuquerque, and Kevin L. Sharrar and wife, Deborah of Lamar, CO; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Walters of Millersburg, PA; brother, J. Arnold Sharrar and wife, Dorothy of Fertigs, PA; sisters, Hazel Fisher of Knox, PA and Delores Thomas and husband, Frank of Venus, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Osman Sharrar, Delmar Sharrar, Kenneth Sharrar and Douglas Sharrar. Mr. Sharrar was born in Oil City, PA and raised in the Fertigs, PA area. He graduated from high school in Oil City, PA in 1940. Mr. Sharrar worked in machine shops from Pennsylvania to Albuquerque. In Albuquerque, he worked for ACF and GE until his retirement in 1975. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge #68, Scottish Rite and was a member of Los Altos Christian Church. Services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2004, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Christopher W. Wilson officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Friday, January 30, 2004, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Los Altos Christian Church, P.O.
