Marcelina Where life begins and ends" Marcelina Marcie "Maggie" Mier was born September 07, 1935, and died January 21, 2004. Maggie is survived by her husband Frank Mier; her daughter Bernadette E. Calderon and husband Rogelio Calderon; her grandchildren Patrick M. Chavez, Gerard and Rachel Chavez, and Myrisa M. and Michael Mora, and great granddaughter Elaine Marcie Chavez; adopted grandson Adan Robles and two special friends, Nappy and Coko; her sister, Helen Sanchez and her brother Nick Chavez. Proceeded in death by her mother, Louisa Chavez and her father Benito Chavez, her sisters Annie Chavez, Bernice Flores, Cecelia Montes and her brothers Ben Chavez and Fred Chavez. Services will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Santa Fe, NM., 511 Alicia St. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m., on Sunday, January 25, 2004. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2003 at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
