Obituary for DUNN

Billie E. "Tom Cat" Dunn, age 86, a resident of Bosque Farms, New Mexico passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2004. "Tom Cat" was born in Kenton, Tennessee in 1917. As a boy he loved to hunt with his dog in the hills behind his home. Throughout his life he worked on many ranches from Texas to Arizona. He finally settled on truck driving as a career. He earned many awards for safe driving over the forty plus years he drove an 18 wheeler with the love of his life, his wife, "Miss Kitty". When he retired from truck driving he owned Bosque Farms Pumping for many years. He dearly loved his dog, "Max", which was his best friend and companion. His hobby was listening to his CB and he was a member of the CB Club for years, he was also an avid fisherman and never missed a chance to go fishing. He would sit for hours and listen to his gospel tapes. His life giving spirit will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Billie was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Eura "Miss Kitty" Dunn; his parents, T.N. and Essie Dunn; and his sister, Virginia Craig. Billie is survived by his daughter, Carol, and her husband Paul Smith of Bosque Farms and their children, Michelle Smith of Gallup, New Mexico, Kristy Smith, April Smith and great grandson, Anthony Smith all of Bosque Farms. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at the Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church, 25 Wesley Road, Peralta, New Mexico, with Pastor Dave Blackwell presiding. Interment will be at Terrace Grove Cemetery at a later date. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen
